Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures Through April and Select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder Sailings in May
Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully preparing for a return to service following the guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As we continue to refine our protocols and await further technical guidance from the CDC, we are cancelling all sailings departing through April 2021 and select sailings onboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder in May.
Sailings are cancelled aboard the Disney Fantasy through April 24; the Disney Dream through April 30; the Disney Magic through May 9; and the Disney Wonder through May 12.
Additionally, as previously shared, based on the conditional sail order provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Disney Cruise Line must cancel sailings longer than 7 nights.
Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. Affected Guests and travel agents will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps.

Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of Departures for the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder through September 30, 2020 and Disney Magic through October 2, 2020
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has extended its suspension of cruise departures from the United States through September 30, 2020.
In line with this direction and with the well-being of our Guests and team members our top priority, Disney Cruise Line has suspended all new departures of the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder through Wednesday, September 30. As previously announced, Disney Cruise Line has already suspended Disney Magic sailings through October 2, 2020.
Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. These Guests and travel agents will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps.

Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of New Departures from Canada through September 14, 2020, and All Other Departures through July 27, 2020
On May 29, 2020, the Canadian government extended its decision to not allow cruise ships to dock in Canadian ports through October 31, 2020. As a result, it is necessary for us to cancel Disney Wonder sailings scheduled to embark and/or debark in Vancouver through September 14, 2020. We are also evaluating the Disney Magic sailings scheduled to visit Canadian ports this October, but have not made changes to any itineraries at this time. Once a decision is made, we will reach out to Guests booked on these sailings.

We also have a comprehensive plan that outlines protocols for managing illness and closely follow the guidance of public health officials. In light of COVID-19, Disney Cruise Line is operating at elevated cleaning and sanitation levels. Among the procedures currently in place include:
According to public health authorities, Guests can also help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and many other illnesses by frequently washing their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom and before eating. Parents can supervise their children to ensure they wash their hands thoroughly. Guests are also advised to cover their nose and mouth with a tissue (or upper sleeve) when sneezing, and avoid sneezing or coughing into their hands or without covering their nose and mouth. Guests or Crew Members who show any symptoms of illness are advised to contact their ship’s Medical Center immediately.

Disney Magic European Sailings After July 2, 2020
Guests currently booked on our European sailings through our July 25 departure can change their reservation up until the day before embarkation and receive a 100% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date. The credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply. Alternatively, Guests currently booked on our July 13, July 18 and July 25, 2020 European sailings may delay their final payment to 30 days prior to their sailing. Suspension of Disney Magic departures extended through June 7, 2020
With the wellbeing of its guests and team members as its top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line has decided to extend the suspension of Disney Magic departures through Sunday, June 7, 2020.
In light of this cancellation, Disney Cruise Line is offering you the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of your original sail date, or a full refund.
This affects Disney Cruise Line departures for:
*The future cruise credit is equal to 125% of the original voyage fare and is only valid for sailings departing within 15 months of the original sailing. The original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the future cruise credit. The future cruise credit is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Standard prevailing rates apply and guests are responsible for any balance due after the future cruise credit has been applied. If you end up not being able to use the future cruise credit, you will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of the original voyage fare. Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received a future cruise credit are not eligible for an additional future cruise credit.

UPDATE: April 14, 2020 - Updates to Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic bookings that were moved or cancelled during select time frame
Disney Cruise Line is reaching out to you, who were originally booked on a Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, or Disney Magic sailing that was scheduled to depart between April 29 and May 17, 2020, and those who moved their sail date due to concerns about the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Since then, with the wellbeing of its guests and team members as its top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line has cancelled these sailings.
Disney Cruise Line would now like to offer you an additional future cruise credit* equal to 25% of the original voyage fare to use toward the reservation you modified. Once the modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to their shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit. Please note that this means guests who moved a sail date or selected a placeholder date between January 30 and April 10 on a cancelled Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy or Disney Magic sailing through May 17, 2020, are offered an additional future cruise credit of 25% of the original voyage fare to use toward the reservation modified.
If your circumstances have changed and you would now like to cancel the reservation they modified, they may do so for a full refund of the original voyage fare they paid.
To take advantage of this offer, please contact your travel agent. Guests requesting a refund should know that any refunds will be processed in the normal course of business, but may be delayed due to the high volume.
For those who cancelled their reservation during the same time frame, Disney Cruise Line is automatically refunding any cancellation fees that may have been charged. This refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, but may be delayed due to the high volume.

Yesterday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced it would extend its suspension of cruise departures from the United States. In line with this direction and with the wellbeing of our guests and team members as our top priority, Disney Cruise Line is reaching out to all guests booked on departures of the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic through Sunday, May 17, 2020, to advise that these sailings have been cancelled.

In light of this cancellation, Disney Cruise Line is offering you the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of your original sail date, or a full refund.
Please note that your commission is protected on the original sailing cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. For reservations that were booked using a future cruise credit from a sailing previously cancelled by Disney Cruise Line, commission on a second sailing will be earned only if the sailing commences and will not be earned if the sailing is cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. In this instance, commission will be paid following the standard commission payment process.

Disney Cruise Line is now addressing Disney Wonder bookings that were moved or cancelled between January 30-April 5, 2020 for sailings that were scheduled to depart between April 29-June 30, 2020.
If you ertr originally booked on a Disney Wonder sailing that was scheduled to depart between April 29-June 30, 2020, and you moved your sail date due to concerns about the new coronavirus (COVID-19), Disney Cruise Line would now like to offer you an additional future cruise credit* equal to 25% of your original voyage fare to use toward the reservation you modified. Once the modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to your shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit. If your circumstances have changed and you would now like you to cancel the reservation you modified, you may do so for a full refund of the original voyage fare paid.
If you cancelled a reservation for a Disney Wonder sailing that was scheduled to depart between April 29-June 30, 2020, Disney Cruise Line will automatically refund any cancellation fees you may have been charged. This refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, but may be delayed due to the high volume.
Please note that Disney Cruise Line cancelled Disney Wonder sailings because the Canadian government announced it will not allow any ship with more than 500 passengers to dock at any of its ports until July 1, and Disney Cruise Line has not been able to secure an alternate homeport.

Announced March 13th
In an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our guests and employees, Disney Cruise Line has decided to suspend all new departures beginning Saturday, March 14, 2020, through the end of the month. This precautionary measure applies to all four of Disney’s cruise ships.
While Disney knows this decision may be disappointing, the health and wellbeing of our guests is of the greatest importance. It is equally committed to the wellbeing of our incredible crew members who live and work aboard our ships and on Castaway Cay. During the suspended operations, Disney Cruise Line will continue to compensate our Crew Members and shoreside Cast Members.
The Disney Dream will depart on a three-night cruise from Port Canaveral as scheduled on Friday, March 13, and will return to Port Canaveral on Monday, March 16. The Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic will return to port on Saturday, March 14. The Disney Wonder, which is currently in the midst of a westbound Panama Canal cruise, will continue on its scheduled itinerary, with guests disembarking in San Diego on Friday, March 20.
Disney Cruise Line will offer guests affected by this decision a future cruise credit or a full refund, the details of which will be provided directly to you.

Information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 continues to evolve quickly and Disney Cruise Line is closely following guidance from health officials and authorities in the ports of call Disney Cruise Line visits. It is also committed to keeping our Guests informed and updated, and are happy to address any questions our Guests have in advance of their cruise vacations and once they’re onboard.
The health and wellbeing of our Guests, as well as that of our Crew Members, is our primary focus. It is taking precautionary steps and have implemented the following guidelines, which will likely continue to evolve as more information becomes available:
UPDATED: At this time, any Guest or Crew Member who has traveled from, to or through the following countries and regions within 14 days of embarkation will not be able to board our ships. Guests in this situation who are scheduled to sail between now and April 12, 2020, will be able to either change their sail date or cancel for a full refund.
Given the current situation, it is offering temporary adjustments to our cancellation policy to provide more flexibility for our guests. These adjustments may continue to evolve as more information becomes available.
