In response to elevated travel restrictions and government advisements, we have made the thoughtful decision to suspend operations through June 30, 2020. Given these circumstances, the Globus family has introduced an unprecedented program designed to give our travelers options and peace-of-mind when considering their travel plans—the Peace of Mind Travel Plan.

Through this plan, the Globus family is now allowing all currently booked travelers between March 14 and June 30, 2020 to move travel dates easily and without incurring cancellation fees, land or airline penalties*.

You are free to move their booking to any Globus family of brands (Globus, Cosmos, Monograms or Avalon Waterways) vacation for any destination. If you are not ready to choose their new vacation, the full value paid to us will be provided via a Letter of Credit, redeemable for any future 2020, 2021 or 2022 departure, and is transferrable.

To make the transition easier, this Plan includes an additional bonus credit. This bonus credit of up to $200 per person will be in addition to the Letter of Credit, redeemable for any future travel through 2022:

• Bonus credit of $200 for Avalon Waterways
• Bonus credit of $100 for Globus
• Bonus credit of $50 for Cosmos, Escapes by Globus & Monograms

This Peace of Mind Travel Plan is also offered for all 2020 tours that include the Edinburgh Military Tattoo through August. Guests with 2020 bookings that include the Tattoo will default to the Peace of Mind plan, with access to move to a 2021 date once they become available, or can opt-out of the Plan as a cancellation**.

*Peace of Mind offer valid for travel through June 30, 2020 until further notice. Refund in the form of a Letter of Credit, redeemable for travel departing by December 31, 2022. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the elevated travel restrictions, government advisements, and most importantly, to ensure the safety of each one of their guests, Avalon Waterways is voluntarily and temporarily pausing global operations for travel through 4/30/20.

With the temporary suspension of operations, Avalon is offering options to move travel dates or cancel bookings for travel through 4/30/20 as follows:

• Affected guests can move their vacation to any other itinerary, destination, brand (Globus, Cosmos, Monograms or Avalon Waterways) or date in 2020, 2021 or 2022 without penalty and with an additional re-booking credit through Avalon's Peace of Mind Travel Plan. To expedite the process and ensure guests have adequate time to adjust travel plans without worry, we have automatically assigned this booking protection in the form of a Letter of Credit to all guests with upcoming departures.
• Guests can opt out of the Peace of Mind Plan via our regular cancelled vacation process

Avalon Waterways is announcing an unprecedented new offer designed to give travelers options and peace-of-mind when considering their travel plans.

Avalon Waterways is now allowing all currently booked travelers between 3/14/20 and 4/30/20 to move travel dates easily and without incurring cancellation fees, land or airline penalties, along with an enhanced booking bonus.

With this Peace of Mind Plan, Avalon will also give you a bonus credit of up to $200 per person on your new reservation, redeemable for any future 2020, 2021 or 2022 vacation:

• Bonus credit of $200 when redeemed for an Avalon Waterways cruise
• Bonus credit of $100 when redeemed for a Globus tour
• Bonus credit of $50 when redeemed for a Cosmos tour, an Escapes by Globus tour or Monograms package

FOR FUTURE TRAVEL (beyond April 30, 2020 departures)

For travel beyond April 30, 2020, Avalon is continuing their policy as follows until further notice:

• For travelers with existing bookings and for new bookings, deposits on future Avalon Waterways vacations can be moved to any other brand (Globus, Cosmos, Monograms or Avalon Waterways), destination or itinerary in 2020 or 2021 without penalty prior to final payment.
• Also, Avalon Waterways is temporarily waiving cancellation penalties until 3 days prior to any Europe departure.

We understand this is a time of hesitation and concern in the world of travel, but are committed to ensuring our guests and their travel advisors manage through this period with the right options, adequate time, and high levels of attention and consideration. As we do our best to help each and every one of our guests, both with current and pending travel plans, we greatly appreciate your confidence and loyalty.
